Hello Mini friends

Sorry that I write in english, I'm from Hungary :) I think I found a Jubilee edition but I'd like to be sure, maybe you can help me.

The Mini is in Budapest, I plane to buy it for restoration. What is your opinion about the car ?

Perdón por haber escrito en inglés, soy de Hungría :) Creo que encontré una edición de Jubilee pero me gustaría estar seguro, tal vez me puedan ayudar.

El Mini está en Budapest, lo avión para comprarlo para la restauración. ¿Cuál es tu opinión sobre el auto?

~2800EUR is the target price, but there is some fault on the car : engine starts with a button only, but it runs smoothly. There is a break on the drivers seat leather. Not too much rust, but the paiting is cracked, so it needs a complete respray. And the things which I don't see from outside, so I'd like to reduce the price. We will see...

The prevoius owner restored the car for years, but he passed away some years ago. Now his son wants to sell it. I always wanted an MK3 which is as old as me : we both born in 1975  ;D

¿Qué precio piden por el Mini? "

~ 2800EUR es el precio objetivo, pero hay algunas fallas en el automóvil: el motor comienza con solo un botón, pero funciona sin problemas. Hay un descanso en el cuero del asiento del conductor. No hay demasiada oxidación, pero el ritmo está agrietado, por lo que se necesita una pulverización completa. Y las cosas que no veo desde afuera, así que me gustaría reducir el precio. Veremos...

El propietario prevoius restauró el automóvil durante años, pero falleció hace algunos años. Ahora su hijo quiere venderlo. Siempre quise un MK3 que sea tan viejo como yo: los dos nacimos en 1975; D

I started to research based on the chassis and engine numbers. The seller said it is a spanish Authi, but the chassis plate does not match because Authi's had they own chassis plate, as I learned. But the last letter is 'Z', that in means the car manufactured "somewhere".

A= built in the UK
B= Belgium
U= South Africa
P= New Zealand
Z= built somewhere else!

The engine number is stamped into the block, which guided me to Authi also.

Yesterday I searched the national register and it says the manufacture date is 1975, the year of Jubilee.

A few days ago a started a topic at TMF, and some members helped me identify the car. One of them wrote that it is probably a Jubilee.
I searched the web for Jubilee, that's why I'm here :)

  Oye un comentario, ¿vas a llenar este fantástico Post que abrió en su día Alfredo y que completó magníficamente Korroloco, con traducciones? Siendo ésto además, algo que puede hacer cada uno por su cuenta. Es que cualquiera que ahora esté echándole un vistazo, se pierde con todo eso que has puesto ahí, la mayoría además 'mal traducido' como suele ocurrir con el traductor de Google.

Mini fabricado no "en alguna parte", sino en Landaben.



Creo que es mucho suponer que sea un Jubilee, en todo caso totalmente modificado. Que nos diga los números de motor y bastidor a ver si podemos aclararnos.

De los modelos de Mini que más me gustan. Tiene mucha clase y apenas se ve.
